Our rooster attacked our hen and she’s bleeding.. got it cleaned off to find a gas in the back of her head that looks like a sac of water. She has no feather on her head or down her back and she’s not doing good at all. I have her under a heat lamp and isolated. I also put “hen healer on her” but she’s not eating or drinking. Before I got home she wouldn’t come out of the coop after being attacked so I know she hasn’t ate all day. She did lay and egg but I’m not sure if it was before the attack or not.

Should I isolate the roosters from the hens because they are being really aggressive even towards the other hens?! Is she going to make it?

The heat LOOKS too hot. Are you sure you aren't cooking her?

She looks like she is in a lot of pain. If you have some Meloxicam to give her to ease her pain.

YES, do remove her from the flock as she does not feel safe and they might attack her.

Is there deep cut on her skin? Might be washed it with Saline water.

Please do keep her safe inside the house with you so that you can monitor her. Offer her some egg york. Put food and water near her.
Give her some reassuring hugs, talk, pat so that she feels safe and love.
Please don't let that rooster near her again
Oh I am so sad for her. I hope she will be ok.

1 of my hens did not like the rooster and he was quite nasty when he jumped on her. She was badly injured and after that I made 2 chicken runs so he does not come near her again.
