I need some suggestions for a short presentation....

I think once you put your nerves about public speaking behind you, you will have a lot of fun....wish I could go with you!.....

Once you have their attention....and you will, just get them all involved, take toy nurse things with you as well as your real ones, and have them pretend they are the nurse alongside you and both take Bp, etc etc together, or turn it into a ward, with nurses and patients....you know the kind of thing, have them do a picture of whats happpening, and why....say....why have we got to wash our hands after using the loo ....best picture gets a small prize, but don't forget to take some little "prizes" for the "non-winners" so nobody feels left out.....

Good luck and am sure you will be fine... but do let us all kow how you got on.............

OK, so far I have everybody a pair of gloves (latex free of course), some Snoopy band-aids, a tongue depresser, a nurse coloring page, a little hand washing chart, and a food pyramid for kids. I've got the otoscope, bp cuffs, ear thermometer, and stethoscopes ready too. If I can just keep their attention long enough to run through a basic trip to the doctor's office and get the heck out of there I will be fine. Thanks for all the suggestions so far!!!

Sounds good....

And if you can survive 3 year olds, would you mind going to my nephews house and talking to him....
He is 6 and refuses to take a bath. He says "Boys are suppose to be stinky!!!"

He is the only boy in the family....Between my sisters and myself we have 7 kids...6 girls and 1 boy....So I suppose he needs all the 'stinky support' he can get.......

(he really doesn't stink YET!!! But I really believe that is his goal)
