I need some sympathy

Our chickens free range. The coop opens up into the corral where right now we have cows with either adoptive calves or young calves. (Do you see where this is going) The cows opened up the door to the coop and distroyed everything in it. I have to figure out how to fix the feeder, nesting boxes (8 were brand new), the whole roost, and the can we kept the feed in. Those cows cleaned up everything, straw, and feed. I think they even ate the chicken poop. We opened the door at 9 and by 10 they had it cleaned up and destroyed. The poor chickens were running around so upset. They have put up with so much from those cows and now this.

Uggh, this sucks! I hope you can get things fixed up fairly easily.

Man, I bet the chickens got mad....wonder what they will do for revenge.

a calf that thinks a coop in the bestplace to be.

We are moving the cows out today.I hope they do well. 2 calves don't have cows but in the corral they snich well.I hope they continue to do well in the pasture.

Wow, I had no idea cows were such a menace!

Sorry this happened to ya; animals are so frustrating sometimes.

At least you can take comfort knowing that the chickens will get back in the groove quickly.

Goodness! At least the cows didn't get out and get hit by a car. Cow don't respect any type of fence or barrier unless a strand of electric wire zaps them. Sometimes that doesn't work.

We live far enough out that the only people ah hit our cows are us. So why are our cows so close to the chickens? Cause that is the was the homesteaders set it up or grandparents. The cows are out to pasture now but my sweet husband thinks we should fatten the two without calves - more chores. I think all I hear is feed me, feed me, feed me.

Wow, yours cows are 'out of control'. Maybe its because they have no 'mom' to teach them right from wrong.

The cow is very cute though. Maybe it thinks its a chicken.

How annoying about having to re build everything!
