I need to convince my parents to let me buy chicks. Any ideas?

Hi. I am 13 years old. I want to get chicks really badly. I asked my parents, but they said no. We already have a few chickens that are laying and room for more. We are going to move to a new house in the next few months or so. They keep saying that I need to wait. I just don't get it because I would pay for it all by myself and they know that. My mom said she is on board if my dad is. My dad doesn't want me to build an addition to our coop now because he doesn't want to move more stuff. I can get that. I would move it if I could, but I can't drive! Any suggestions are appreciated.

Your Dad is right! First of all just moving your chickens is going be stressful on them. Wait till after you move to bring in another stress. ( new chicks). Sometimes the good things are worth waiting for!
