I need to improve the mulberry face in my OEGB birchens.

I have a line of Birchen OEGBs (Old English Game Bantams) and although their type is good, there is no trace of the mulberry face that is required in the "Standard". I do not see a lot of Birchen OEGB's in shows with the mulberry face but the moderns are dominating the game- they are perfect and have nice mulberry faces. I do understand the genetics of the mulberry face- these are required for silkies and seabrights- but, I am interested in any suggestions on how to work this back into my line.
