I need to kill my roo and i cant do it

you can get co2 from vinegar and baking soda, ether works too, plenty of ways to put something down quickly and painlessly. you could also use nitrogen, argon, or any other welding gas, N2 would not trigger the CO2 reaction and burn as much too.

Don't soda stream machines use C02?

This is hard, but be careful about giving him away to an "eager stranger." I hate to say it, but illegal cock fighting still happens.
THIS.
And in my state (Oklahoma), cockfighting is a widespread practice. This is why I will not sell or give any rooster to someone I don't know personally or through someone I trust - which means I've only been able to give away two out of two flocks (both chicks I raised), and it was a miracle I could find just those two (because no one needs a rooster).
I have a second cockerel from this spring's chick flock whom I cannot keep since I already have an adult roo. In a few weeks I will humanely end his life on earth, and then give his body to a wildlife rehab center to feed to a rescue animal (probably crying on the way, since I raised him). That's my plan for any I need to cull. I don't want to take a chance on even a mean rooster ending up living or dying through brutal cockfighting.

A member of this forum who was into cockfighting in his younger days said that they do not want your roosters for cockfighting. They are not bred for it and are not built for it. They are worthless to people that cockfight. That should not be a concern.

A wildlife rehab or maybe even a zoo is a good solution, especially if you are concerned about how they will be killed. That is a valid concern in my opinion.

Completey agree to your 2nd point about concern that the animal is killed humanely.

Our city zoo must source their feed from their own suppliers, so they couldn't take mine. The rehab is more flexible.

Oh my gosh, that's right - I'm sorry. I'm confusing the issue with the dog fighting that also goes on here... along with the suspect characters always looking for free or dumped" dogs...
And your comment reminds me that my a few years ago, my neighbor, who had been given some chickens from another relative, was offered a big chunk of change for a few of them by a contractor he'd called out to his house. The man told him they were fighting (or whatever you call them) chickens. My neighbor had no idea what kind they were, only that they were his! (He refused the offer, thankfully.)

But still, unless I know or feel comfortable with someone and their approach to raising chickens (just basic care and humane attitude), the ones I can't keep will go as a meal to the rehab center.

I would imagine a free unsuitable rooster (not bred for it, not the right breed, not trained) would be used by cockfighting people as part of the training for their roosters? As in, some easy prey for them to practise on. I've heard of dogs being used in this way.

It's a hideous and cruel death, and I can't believe cockfighting is legal in some places.

And all the BYCers who do it (you know who you are) and who chat about raising their 'stags' and use coded words to talk about what they aren't allowed to talk about here, should be ashamed.

This is going to sound very rude but if there are Amish or a big poultry farm near you just drop it off there secretly

Not just rude, its damgerous and irresponsible to foist your problems off onto someone else. Be a decent human being, honest in your actions. Yes, if there is a nearby Amish community they might well appreciate the offering. ASK. Many other communities, likewise, its not just the Amish that remain close to Earth.
