Are you counting the first 24 hours in the incubator as day 1 or day 0? If you counted them as day 1 then you would actually be on day 18.

Ok! Hopefully at least 5 hatch...Most people leave them until day 22 or even 23 just incase there’s an egg that was a day or two behind. It’s rare but it sometimes they still hatch. If there’s any that haven’t hatched by day 22 I would pull them out and candle to check for signs of life.
After I put the eggs in the incubator at 9:00 am on Feb 26, I counted that day as day 1. So what day am I on?Are you counting the first 24 hours in the incubator as day 1 or day 0? If you counted them as day 1 then you would actually be on day 18.
I believe you are on day 18. The 26th is supposed to be day 0 and the 27th should be day 1.After I put the eggs in the incubator at 9:00 am on Feb 26, I counted that day as day 1. So what day am I on?
So I lock downed on the wrong day (day 15)... Is that alright?I believe you are on day 18. The 26th is supposed to be day 0 and the 27th should be day 1.
Locking down a day early isn’t a huge deal. Turning is most important during the first 10 days. After that once they are big enough to start moving around it’s still important but not nearly as much. I wouldn’t be worried with it being just a day early. So I lock downed on the wrong day (day 15)... Is that alright?
Okay, phew! What do internally pipped eggs look like on the outside?Locking down a day early isn’t a huge deal. Turning is most important during the first 10 days. After that once they are big enough to start moving around it’s still important but not
No different than before. All it means is that they have broken the membrane on the air cell. Usually the only sign they’ve pipped internally is cheeping. They will usually sit until they use up the air in the air cell. After that they make the external pip which is the one you will be able to see. And they usually sit and rest for awhile after that one too. Hatching is pretty exhausting for them so they take a lot of naps lol.Okay, phew! What do internally pipped eggs look like on the outside?
Aww! Going to be excited for that. I think I can get a less blurry pic of the eggs.No different than before. All it means is that they have broken the membrane on the air cell.
