I Need to Name This Young Gentleman

The green-band cockerel (almost 20 weeks), who won the competition to be line-sire for my Blue Australorps.

My thoughts are:

Victor -- because he was the best of 5 options (and as a nod to Queen Victoria, the grandmother of all European royalty),

Rameses -- known for his multitude of children.

Most of the females are named for food, but since the other cockerel is Ludwig -- king of the very expensive castle -- I'm trying to keep with the theme of royalty.

If I had to choose between the options…I’d go Victor.

Wow, hard decision. Victor gets the edge, though. He's the victor, for one thing, and to me, it's a little easier to say.

I can't decide. I think I like the name Victor better. I also like the name Drake or Atlas for your boy.

Since he's a line sire, how about naming him Sire? It's a word associated with kings even if it isn't the actual name of a king.
