It was on TV. Nothing that's on our new's ever gets posted on Internet. NS is too small to do that

i think it may have been biteing, but then again this woman has 3 acres and they never stated where it happened. This woman was in her 60's i think, and i believe that the dogs were all up-to-date on there shots.

i would hate to give wrong info as it was one or two day's ago. There are a lot of issues with dogs in NS for some reason.

Probably like here, where everyone around us thinks their dogs have to be freeeeeeeee........

If you see/hear anymore, please post.

We have the same problem around here. Ken has started calling animal control everytime he sees a dog running loose. They are usually in packs, not alone or in pairs. It's so frustrating because WE have dogs that dig and we manage to keep them inside the fence. It just isn't that hard.

I am 50/50 about this one. Yes the woman is to blame for her dogs getting out, however, I find it HYSTERICAL that a 91 year man now has a catch behind his knee. 91 years old and it HAD to be because of the dog bite?

The propane guy, I am wondering there was a sign. We have sign. Not because they are aggressive, but because you just never know when an animal chooses not to like someone.

sounds like the tax payers where saved some money....does it matter who had them put down as long at it was done, realy are they gonna split hairs and waste more money....

Idiots all around; owner, Judge, and court system.......

Just a sad state of affairs. I hope she realizes she should not have dogs......

Animal controls' mission is not to put dogs down. I am sure(?) that it was not a first offence it usually isn't putting them down is usually reserved for severe cases where public safety is a concern. Most dogs that bite are a result of poor ownership. I would never own or tolerate a dog that bites people too much liability.
