I need to transport our semi wild 8 month old peahen

Tomorrow I need to rehome our 8 month old peahen who having hatched by incubator and raised by myself until she was 4 months was then rehome at a peacock sanctuary an hour from us. I now face her having to be rehomed again tomorrow and have to drive her an hour. How can I transport her without her getting upset??

No bird will ever be happy being transported especially if skittish. But you can make them comfortable by putting them in a dog crate with blankets or wood chips. Depending on how far your going food and water can be messy. When I ship birds I put apple slices, lettuce, and cucumbers in the box for them to eat. The apples and cucumbers are juicy so they act as food /water.
