Hang in there!! Losing chickens is hard. You are very lucky to have never experienced that in your 30 years. I have gotten so attached to my girls because they are so sweet and love to be held. I can't imagine the experiences of raising chickens for 30 years!! I'll be a basket case in 30 years cause I hate seeing anything happen to them!
