okay thank you so much , so do you suggest to put her on her back and press on the crop ?? I didn't mean to hurt her but she moves a lot when I hold her to open her beak, I really didn't mean to make her feel worse . if something happened to her I will blame myself for the rest of my life . :(

I'm sorry if my post was not clear. No...please do not place her on her back to syringe fluids into her.

If I had to pick the one thing on BYC that has helped me the most It would be this picture. No contest.

she's not helping me to do this , I tried but she moves her head away , she may be sick but she still fights back :( and there's no one with me to help me hold her . :( how often should I give her electrolytes ?? I made one cup of water and added 2 teaspoons sugar , 1/8 salt , and 1/8 baking soda , I take some with the syringe and put it into her , so the cup is still full , should I give her more ?

Wrap her in a towel kinda snug , set her on your lap or use a table that is a comfortable height for you . Use one hand to hold the beak open and head still the other hand to place the dropper . So she still isnt drinking ?

yes isn't drinking , or eating , I gave her her favorite treats but she won't touch them :( , she has always been a strong hen , I hope she's strong enough to survive this . :( I don't think there's much I can do for her right now . :(

keep her hydrated . If you had the vitamins you could tube those in as well. Thats about it. I hate to mention this but if you cant tube her and she dont start drinking on her own you should consider culling her.

I use a long sleeve t-shirt with the neck opening sewed enough to fit their head through, then wrap the sleeves around them, place em between my legs on a chair facing sideways. I also put a flashlight in my mouth so I can see clearly to make sure I'm "aiming" right. When they're snugged up like that it's much easier.
Ha! I forgot about the flashlight in the mouth. Its hard to do w/ no teeth . LOL
