I need with color of male peachick

I called them just now.
I actually sent in 3 samples (feathers)
The first one was so delayed when Covid broke loose their mail was all messed up and we decided they were gone so I sent in new samples.( They went ahead and tested the late ones)
Both tested Male.
I started thinking the same way as y'all. Thinking he was a she, so I sent in new samples.
Once again Male
Crazy! The woman I spoke with said they do many Peafowl and she really thinks that sense all 3 tested Male, then Male he should be.
She was very nice.

I thought so too so I sent the third sample in. I was shocked when it came back ‘male’
I thought I would send some better photos
I’m still trying to find out where the parents came from. Some farm, I don’t think breeders

OK. Y’all have probably realized I haven’t visited BackYard often.
I have sent even less photos
Sorry for all of the deprecates 👩🏻‍🌾
Your photos are fine, I just wonder if somehow the feathers you sent in were contaminated giving a false reading. I have never sent in feathers, always trim a talon and send in a drop of blood.
I think that in about four weeks there will be no doubt in the sex of the chick, don't waste any more money on DNA testing.
