He found it, it was in his bag under some other stuff, he problem moved it there yesterday and forgot, his mind seems to be lagging and that concerns me.
Thank you for the support LiL zoo, it is hard to know what to do when things like this happen when you never been there before.

He is so secretive with his doctors, he never lets me know he has an appointment unless it is in Houston now, but i have never been to his local VA doctor and he has been going for years, same thing when he used a regular physician, i have to pump him for info as to how his health is and weather or not his meds have been changed or did he mention the rash , see my DH is a very hairy man and you have to get close to see the rashes he has as they blend with the hair i think it is shingles myself but when i mentioned it to the doctors both stays at the hospital i was told he would have to see the dermatologist and i understand cause we were dealing with Sergun's and doctors that were dealing with his infection not his rash, but do you think he is going to do anything about it, why no he would rather take benadril all the time which i told him even a teaspoon a day of the child's meds can be good for him, he needs to get to the source and i feel it is his meds.

Sorry to ramble but it feels a little bettert to get it out.

i got to atart mowing the pastures again pasture it will help get my mind on something else till i see that he is ok. , wished i could just sleep and wake up fresh and try to start this day over

Can your DH eat yogurt?
It really helps keep the active cultures going in the GI tract, might counteract some of the antibiotics.
(I'm not sure if he is supposed to avoid dairy?)

Men, only think they can hide stuff. I don't know how long you been married, but it's like when the baby pea died. I know there was an accident when I was gone. My DH is not good about picking up after himself. When he has done something that he knows will make me mad, he cleans everything up. When this happens I know instantly something smells.

I don't know why when they go to the doctor they don't tell them everything that is going on like it's a big secret and it just might go away on it's own. They don't understand we can't live with out them although we'd like to kill them ourselves at times.

New to pfowl,
He does not eat much dairy maybe a half pint a milk and cheese once in a while and i have gotten him to eat yogurt after the last surgery cause i always have it cause i love it anyhow one of the meds he is taking are to destroy any bacteria so yogurt will not help him at all till the meds are out of his system, so i ain't gonna push it.

Thank you for the suggestion it is a great one if he were not on the meds like last time.

Zaz, Anyway I can help, just by listening you are welcome to vent anytime. You can also PM me when ever you want. I have Dr. appt this afternoon, if I don't answer back right away. You been such a helpful pea friend to so many on this forum I think I can say we are all worried about you and your husband and we all care.

We have been married for 26 years nad have known each other for 36 , i know him well and always thought if he wanted to have his little secrete than so be it, i am not gonna get him riled up cause he don't want to discus it, if ii say how did the visit go it is always everything is fine, all the test were good, he has been taking meds for cholesterol and blood pressure for 20 years so i am not supose to dought his word i guess.

I think his biggest thing is he has to take off of work if he can not get his appointment on a certain Friday he has off, like the EKG it can only be done on Mondays at the VA , he had one in the emergency room but has to go back for the one already scheduled for the 10th don't know why cause he just got it and they have all his records but we will be making that appointment and another the same day.

Zazouse,,my thoughts are with you.I havn't been here much lately because of a huge work load and being constantly ridiculed by 1 byc member. I come here now and spend more times in other sections of BYC that are more friendly in atmosphere.Now is the first time I read of your situation,and anything we can do from Illinois,,,just say the words!!!!

That was mine to being sick. Drs. want to take one test then come back discuss it then take another. I know where I worked was awesome, but I also knew it put them in a pinch when I'd miss. Sometimes I let things go way to far, just because of that.

I had to quit taking Cholesterol meds after years of taking them.. They are finding they have numerous side effects. Maybe your husband should just drop them for a while and see if the constant bowel movements stop. It isn't like it is a med that is actually needed like blood pressure or would make an overnight difference if discontinued for a month to 6 weeks to see if there is a change. I totally agree with the yogart. Well I'm off to the Dr.
