the ducky room
well, quackers my broody duck decided to come eat, then she decided she wanted a bath, so i let her have a bath and then when she wanted back into the room to dry off, duckie like jumped on top of her, so i grabbed him off of her, the poor thing, and put him in the bathroom. he was not allowed to get into the bathtub!! he was in trouble!! well, i let quackers dry off and nearly got bit when i was trying to put her sheet down so she could go back into her nesting box with her babies. soo then i go let duckie out.. but what is that looney duck up to..???

HE WAS STANDING ON THE BATHROOOM COUNTER hahahahahahah

Haha, what a funny place for a duck to end up! Gotta love what characters duckies are. Lately one of my ducks keeps trying to steal my shoe. For what purpose, I don't know.

My ducks undo my laces all the time... Maybe they think they are huge worms or something???

So now I try to wear boots out there when I am with them.

! when I had goonie bear In the house he used to jump on the fireplace to look in the glass panels, or jump on the back of the sofa to walk and jump on the end table to try to each my mom's flowers. We have a mirror set of doors for the hallway closet and he LOVED those - even when I had the other two indoor ducks out and about. He also loved chasing my dog around the house!

But now sadly he has to go

My scovie girls have taken up with my black drake and Goonie bear is too rough with my little mallard derived girls.

aweee i'm sorry. he sounds like a character. how cute. i couldn't ever give up duckie. we've binded so much since quackers has been broody. he's my little buddy bear!! i love him so much. i only wish i had got ap icture hahahaha. we'll see if he'll do it again lol.

he's sitting here with his head on my bed. his wants his head rubbed lol. SPOILED

Be careful that Duckie doesn't try to breed her while she is on the nest. That would result in cracked or broken eggs. Sometimes drakes or roosters will develop this behavior when there are no other females available.
