My meal worm farm experiment seems to be working. I put my meal worms in a tub with toasted oats and after about a month or so I now have bugs. So I guess the next step is to see if they lay eggs and have more meal worms. WOHOO!!!!!
I NEVER thought I would say i am happy to have BUGS!!!!!

It's like an ant farm, only more yummy for your chickens!
I was watering my grape plants today and a big green caterpillar fell out of the leaves... I wish I'd had a camera on my 6 week old chicks... they had a heyday!
