6 newbies growing in the brooder! amerecauna (ie easter eggers) I panicked as it seemed i would run out of time to get any layers going by spring so I got these started! Was originally estimating age at around 1 week but based on tail feathers now i’m thinking already 2+/- weeks old! trying to keep them “quarantined” in the brooder for 2-4 weeks until I’m sure that they are healthy/disease free and then hopefully introduce them to the silkies in the indoor playpen! hoping to be able to transition all of them outside and integrate with the flock in 4-6 more weeks!
