Because i was stupid enough to look around the other cities in alabama and georgia and found two different sets of geese for sale - 5 for $75 and another person with 3 for $25 each.
And I found other people with ducks but guess WHAT??!?!??!?

I do the same thing all the time. I am very limited onw here I can go, my car is horrible and I dont trust it.

I learned the hard way about purchasing through crags list

bought 4 hens

1 died within 12 hours

2 months later the other 3 started crowing

You scared me there. I thought it was going to be something really bad. We LOVE craigslist in this family. On Thursday I lost more than half my flock to a loose dog and yesterday I was able to go on craigslist and get 9 more chickens just like that. Not that the new ones will replace in my heart my 2 favs, but at least it's a start.
