My friend says she thinks these might not be and said they looked like a cockerel.

I took the picture last night when I fed them before bed. First I'm sure they will be insulted they were called girls. I always tell all of them, girls you need to be quiet or girls leave each other alone. The red one is a cherry egger and that one in particular we asked is it a male or female three times. we were told she's a girl. The other is an easter egger.
 
With combs that big if they are girls they should be laying or close to pol if boys I'd expect crowing by now

Well if they are laying they are eating their own eggs cuz I have never seen any eggs. And they aren't crowing yet. Tho I swore the white one tried before. But my friend said more than likely it wasn't. Now she's the one saying it's a male. Even tho she insisted it was a female before.
 
So they are less than 16 weeks old? Can you get better pictures of them? Oh, and neither is an Easter Egger.

well then they don't know what breed it was either bc it was in with the Easter Eggers.
