I ordered eggs instead of chicks...

My little silkie haas had no luck hatching her own brood. I ordered chicks back in the spring. She has set twice since and the last clutch produced one little splay legged hatchling. It didn't make it. So she has been setting a week and I decided to order eggs this time. Someone here gave me the idea. I put them under her this evening. guess I'll know in about three weeks if it works or not. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I really want her to hatch her babies so much.

Oh! How sweet! What a great idea she really wants to be a mama I'm so happy that you're giving her a chance to be one. I hope they hatch for you!

I hope it works for you. Hatching can be pretty frustrating sometimes, but don't give up.
