I ordered lots of chicks!

I am getting 25 Lav Silkies and some Pilgram goslings from Ideal in April!

Lav silkies! Silkies are on my list for next! I really won't be telling my DH that! But I'll wait until I have sold some of these so more toward summer. It will be something to look forward to.

Lovinlife, I'm on the south side of Houston in Alvin. I have an addiction to EEs! I always have a few of those around. I can't wait to see what I get in my Surprise Special.

I am so excited! I just called and ordered 8 baby chicks to be picked up on Feb 2nd. Can't wait to get them, my grand daughter is excited as well. She is only 3 but wants to help take care of them as if they were her own. I ordered 4 Silver Laced Wyandotte's and 4 Barred Plymouth Rocks. All I have to get before I get them is the food. Already have their space set up and their food and water dishes. Two and a have more weeks!!!!

They're supposed to be shipped today!

Which means I should have them tomorrow or Friday!

I went to Tractor Supply yesterday to pick up a few things.

I just go the e-mail that they were mailed today!

Banks, hopefully we'll both be getting ours tomorrow. I better check the camera and make sure it's all working. While at Tractor Supply, I got a big box that turned out to be a box in a box. One slightly smaller to fit inside the first but upside down. It's not very tall so I'll have to cover it, but it's plenty big to keep the peeps happy for a couple weeks.

They're here! They're here!

I went to take my son to school and forgot my phone. When I got back, my other son told me the post office called and my chicks are in! So, I rush off to the post office and get them. They are in their brooder now and settling in well. All are alive and I got 52 in all. I'm a little disappointed at the lack of variety. They put on the invoice that I got

Ah well, they're sure cute!

I'll get picks posted real soon. I can't download from the card right to this computer. I have to download to my laptop then use a flashdrive to put on here. Rest assured, you will get pics.
