I think this is the right thread to post this in. A while back I read an article about green houses and that chickens exhale a certain gas that are beneficial to plants. What is it? What is the gas that chickens exhale. Did anyone else read this elsewhere?

I've not heard this before (new to chickens) but I do know chicken poo is high in nitrogen. I wonder if they might expel some in their respirations. Just guessing. Sorry.

I think all creatures exhale carbon dioxide, plants use carbon dioxide and release oxygen.

I don't know why I thought different. The more I read about it, the more I realize I read that old article wrong. Thanks guys..
