Sounds good to me!

Sillystunt, it is the ear tufted gene, I believe that is the lethal gene, not the 'tailess gene'. Muffs and beards have no lethal gene involved. I believe that rooster is clean faced so it should be fine to keep him.

And yes, I believe the gene is recessive so you don't want to breed two tufted ear birds together, but you can breed a tufted to a clean face that does not carry the gene.

Hen Pen, by way of explanation, a poster called Bufforp(At the bottom of page 1 of this post) said she had some extra BO roos, and I was responding to her! Should have sent a PM, I know. I don't have a roo at this time, and my buffies are 14 wk old pullets. I have some older hens of different breeds, but those are my only buffs. I would drive some to pick up a roo, but wouldn't want to get into shipping, etc.

I liked the idea of more hens, then you can keep all your fella's.
I love MORE chickens!

They are really beautiful roos! What a diffucult decision.

I would keep the one that would be most protective of my girls of predators, easiest to handle, and would give the flock the most interesting color. I vote the one you already like (first pic)
Any that were "brave" enough to peck someone would have to go!
Have a yard sale, there will be someone come by and want the other guys. Nearest flea market sale maybe?

Hmm looks a bit like the gator aide logo. Don't worry I'll put more time into the next one.
