I REALLY NEED HELP!! I HAVE A CROSSBEAK CHICK!!!!

My chick had cross beak it is just as active as the other ones it can eat and drink, its cross beak isn't to bad. Not as bad as my baby Odins. Does anyone know what I can do with it? I AM NOT going to cull it. @JustBabyMargo do you know how I can help it?

Usually they do. Yours doesn't doesn't too bad so it shouldn't be too too bad as an adult, but odds are it won't stay as slight as it is now

It will likely worsen as time goes on, but if you are serious about taking care of it, you have to be all in. It looks fine for now, so just treat it like any other chick. If it starts to get overgrown, you will need to trim it, but that will be once it’s a bit older. Keep a close eye on it, and make sure that it is getting enough to eat, growing, and not having a hard time.

If it starts having trouble eating, I'd say try wetting its feed with some water or maybe even raw egg to make a mash. That may be easier for Penguin to eat.

Not always. Sometimes the beak gets a lot worse, and sometimes it doesn’t. Only time will tell. Crossbeak is caused by injury, genetics or vitamin deficiency.
