I really need some advice

Amoxicillin. Is that injectable or in her water or on her food? My daughter raises goats and she keeps penicillin on hand. It is injectable. Would that work do you think?

I have pills, but I've read some posts from @Wyorp Rock that you can give liquid antibiotics orally, it would probably be the same as any oral antibiotics. Is there a treat your hen likes that you can post some on?

I don't know the dosage though, for amoxicillin I gave 250mg orally for a week to ten days. @Wyorp Rock can penicillin be used instead of amoxicillin.

For a reproductive issues, Amoxicillin or Baytril would be better. But if Penicillin G is all that's available, you could try it.
Penicillin G is not to be given orally.
Penicillin G dose is 1/4cc daily, injected into the breast muscle 1/4" deep, alternating sides daily for 4 days.

I have some Braytril but it might be out of date. Isn’t that the medicine that tastes really bad?

Baytril 10% liquid is fine to use. Dosage is 0.05 ml per pound or 0.25 ml (1/4 ml ) for a 5 pound hen. Give it twice a day for 5 days. Don’t mix it in water, but give undiluted, and it is quickly swallowed. I would use it even if it is outdated.

No she’s still in there, I gave her the tums and I’m afraid i am being too rough with her. She wriggles so hard. I put her back in the nest box and that’s where she still is and it’s 1:30pm. Should I pick her up and put her in the yard or just leave her be? Now my other chicken is acting just just like her, laying under the porch, won’t come to me even when I offer her favorite food. Oh what to do

She sounds spunky which is a good sign. Can you dose her tums at night when she's roosting?
