THANYOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!!! Just recently I got a hen broody! she is sitting on a cluch of eggs right now.

I have had no luck with the smell every time I have chicks,

they always smell up the house!! When ever we would put them in the garage they found out how to fly and pooped all over the floor so it stuck!!

My basement smells like a chicken coop.

I have 1 chicken that's supporst to have chicks any day and a Turkey that is on her first week

Chicken on eggs update:
The chickens eggs never hatched and because we didn't know that until one got cracked open a stink bomb was unleashed a gross rotten egg and all of the eggs are rotten
The turkey cracked open a egg with the baby in it and now she is on two eggs that are still alive and are on day 15 or 16 I think but all of the turkeys eggs are still alive.

Chicken on eggs update:
Mamma stopped being broody but right after another hen became broody and is sitting on 4 eggs right now
The turkeys eggs are support to hatch this Saturday
I will send pictures of the chicks if when they hatch.

chicken update:
We are not getting chicks from Gabby (the turkey) I went into her coop to check on her and I saw egg shells I thought the chicks hatched but when I looked under her there was no eggs no chicks or any sign of chicks so we are not getting chicks this week but... This morning I put 2 eggs under her so now she is sitting quietly like nothing even happened

The chicken settled down so now she won't get up off her eggs when ever we walk by. I hope her eggs hatch on the first try , if not that means we will have the best luck in the world (3 attempts failed)

Chicken Update:

WE HAVE CHICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all black and yellow chicks one is yellow with black spots!! They just hatched today for both the hen and the turkey
