I received my peepers but anyone who has done this please read

    The peepers don't look like they will fit.
    Did your birds freak out?
    Are cochin bantams ok for peepers?
    Any tips on how much hollering they will do, or if we were doing it wrong?

    If you got the plastic pinless peepers, they do fit banties and standards. I find that heating up water in the micro til hot and dropping the peepers in for a minute or so warms them up and makes them flexible - and easier to put on. In the moments after your put them on, there will be some hen drama. Scratching at them, the other hens checking it out...Don't worry. It settles down very quickly and they adjust just fine.
