Hi I saved a racing pigeon from a coopers hawk a week ago. Shes not wanted by the owner anymore so he let me keep her. Iv built a loft and a 10x10 run for her to fly in. I have arranged to get a few more birds this weekend.
This is the first bird iv had , and I love her. She was super stressed up the first day. But seems calm down now.
Just looking for any exper tips and advice.

Hey everyone. Update .
I ended up getting 3 more pigeons from someone i met searching for Aidas tag #. I now have 2 couples. I got better perches and nesting bowls.
They seem to love the aviary. The loft will be better with proper perches , i didn't realize how much poop ends up on the flat perch . Lol
