You may get some odd looks, but if I saw someone out with their pet chicken, I would be over there in a heart beat, asking the name/breed/can I pet him/her and watch me closely in case I try to take him/her home with me. You will get those poor souls who don’t understand, but you’ll also get us Chicken People who’ll be thrilled to see her :love . Just be cautious and aware of the surroundings. I’m always paranoid something tragic will happen (somebody’s unruly dog gets loose etc.), so I take extra precautions.

Some of our chickens watch tv with my kids, so be you and walk with your chicken inside the stroller like you own the world!!!
 
might be a good idea to get another hen as companion, chickens get lonely without flockmates (even though you are giving her lots of attention :) )
