You guys can import just as easily as me. I just have my priorities messed up so I spend every cent I earn on animals instead of things for me or cars etc.
I'm sure you guys have spent $1000 on something this year. I just happened to spend mine on a chicken cause I'm addicted

I'm with you sis! I don't spend much money on myself, but the animals get doted on for sure! My chickens get to sleep indoors, and they come in when they want... of course I spend a lot of time cleaning chicken poo, but their sweet ways makes up for it all... Chicken relationships are easier than human relationships to be sure!

I am about to post pics but want to give background 1st. The hen was in terrible condition when I got her with more than 4 kinds of bugs, malnutrition, filthy etc.
I've had her for 2 weeks now & she has improved immensely but her feathering wont be good for several months still. She is missing most of the feathers of her back so you can't see the mottling & most of her crest is out as well as her feet & tail feathers but with TLC, she should be awesome. She really isn't s.c.r.a.p.p.y at all but she looks it in the pics so please use your imaginations.
