I saw the stupidest Owl ever...!

Believe it or not I have never seen or heard a wild owl. I would really like to hear one hoot sometime.

i used to do a lot of hiking at night. there was this one particular trail that i would walk about one evening a week. for years there was an owl that would follow me/us whenever we were out after dark. he would stay about 30 yards behind us and would catch and eat whatever we disturbed as we walked. he was using us to troll the woods for him scaring up game. when we would take a break he would sit on a nearby limb and patiently wait for us to start walking again. i miss that ol owl.
