I know exactly where you are coming from Debi. Step children can bring as much joy as your own. In fact I consider them mine. When one stepson's daughter was born he asked if it would be okay for his daughter to call me Opa the same as my granddaughter did. Of course it was okay and now he and his wife are expecting a son in February and they plan on naming him after me. What an honor.
