I scared my chickens

What are the odds that they don’t? I couldn’t go to bed knowing I have a rouge chicken out there.
No odds! Chickens will usually go in right before it gets dark. You can go to bed knowing you don't have any rouge chickens out there. :)
 
By let them out do you mean into the run or free ranging? Into the run should be fine, but maybe wait a bit to free range.
The coop is in the middle of a fenced in area. I lock them in the coop at night and let them roam in the fenced area during the day. I live in South Carolina and the weather changes on a dime so I used a treat bag with oatmeal to move them quickly into the coop. UNTIL I BUMPED MY HEAD AND SCARED THEM :( ughhhhhhgg
