DD = darling daughter
MIL = Mother in law
FIL = father in law
BF / GF = boyfriend/girlfriend
LO = little one (usually a child)

But you are on your own when it comes to chicken names. I only know a few

BO = buff orpington
SLW = silver laced wynadottes
RIR = Rhodes island red
