Put them in a safe pen outside during the day when it is warm. They don't need as much heat lamp as chicks. Make sure they have water and food and are protected.

I know how you feel. My girl is over 2 months old and she is still inside the house. I am scared to put her outside since she is my only duck. Make sure you clean out the cage or else you will get the raunchiest smell ever. I am going to try top make her outside pen more secure and put her outside.

They wnet outside today, and whenever I walked about 10 feet away the ran towards me and followed me where ever I walked. Is that imprinting? Do they think I am it's "mom" even though I am not a girl or a duck.
