They shouldn't be able to escape just yet. You'll have a few weeks before they are really scared of you

I don't know how to adjust the temps on the 1588, so I can't give any advice on that. I use an LG still air for hatching, so it's easy to adjust those.

Um, the only thing no one told me about, was how noisy they are! It sounds like I have a turkey in the house! lol and I have 30 more to go? YIKES! hehe........

I'll set up a nice little brooder for them. I personally didn't think they would hatch, I guess Im doing something right!

They shouldn't be as loud, once the little one isn't alone. He is lonely, and calling for his buddies. Leave that one in there as long as possible, so it can talk the others out of their shells.

This is just so cool. I am glad I bought the incubator. My DH was thinking we could pay for it with some sales in chicks, but ya know, I think it's paid for itself in the joy it has brought into my life....

Out of 30 eggs I have 3 left to go! I'd say thats a pretty darn good hatch rate for shipped eggs and me not knowing what Im doing
