I set my first eggs in the incubator today :weee

I am so excited....

I borrowed an incubator from a friend and set my first batch of eggs. They are EE, EE/Cuckoo Maran mix, EE/ Wynnadote mix,EE/australorp mix, EE/ Deleware mix, and EE/Dominique mix. I am sooooooo excited 20 1/2 days to go.......

That's great! It sounds like you will have a fun mixture of chicks. Are you planning to keep track of which chicks came from which parents?

To tell you the truth, other than the green eggs(EE) and the dark brown(Cuckoo Maran) I have ni idea who layedwhat! So it shall be an exciting hatch. Who knows what they will look like.

I am in the same boat as you. My eggs arefrom free range chickens and was told it would be a guess as to what they will look like. I was promised they would be pretty Good luck with yours

Sounds like a wonderful mix! I've finally got my bator going, and now just waiting a couple of days to make sure it's going to be stable before I go egg hunting.
