i somehow acquired 2 runaways and i have questions. please help

also! native to ireland are the pygmy shrews, which are super tiny and cute.
but the great white toothed shrew is an invasive species and are making the pygmy shrews disappear.
of course we have the great white toothed ones.

Not much experience. But they are cute!
I don’t think they would be a danger to your chickens though they might try their food.
Some chickens might catch them and eat them but many wouldn’t.
They mainly eat insects.

Never saw my bantams eat mice or shrews.
Welcome the cats to reduce them. The shrews prefer insects but also eat seeds and nuts. I don’t know if they eat chicken food if they are hungry and visit @night.
A neighbour cat of us who is on a diet, does steal our chicken food which is 100% vegan.
