i somehow acquired 2 runaways and i have questions. please help

i'm not too sure how old they are. i think they were a year old in august or september. but that's just a guess from when the guy got them and when they landed here.

I understand that! I’ve been saying Ravioli is 4 or 5 for 2 years now she’s got to actually be turning older this year.

Anyways maybe after this hump transitioning to spring they’ll settle down since they’re a year old now.

today was a good day.
louise laid an egg.
thelma hasn't laid in 2 days. she was quiet today. sort of introverted even? not really like her, but she seemed good.

both were out and about all day while i was digging... following me around to get the bugs.

louise even came up to me because she was ready to go back in the run.

now that i said it out loud. that's really REALLY unusual!

i have 40M of hwc! my plan was to cover the ceiling of the run with it and i wanted to take that stupid big holed chicken wire off the flu fort and do it a little more properly. i only have poles stuck into the ground and a little door made of the little run pieces. did you build a wooden frame for the door?

I don’t have a proper door in the party tent run. At one side I made panels with an opening in the middle. I used the sticks/pens and panels of a compost cubicle (made with 4 pens and 80x80 cm panels) and 80 x 120 cm panels. The panels are all with a maze of 5x5 cm. The panel in the middle is 80x120 cm. . From the ground up is about 30 cm sturdy hwc with a maze of 1.5 cm.
I stick the overlapping panel in the ground with the pens (using the overlap with the hwc). On top I made a net (cat netting). Connected the cat netting to the frame (lateral) with nylon wire. It hangs down over the panel with a big overlap and has a bamboo stick as weight at the underside. I close it with 2 more sticks/pens and 2 pieces of rope. I dont open it very often.

Another side of the party-run is open to a wooden/ chickenwire (maze 25 mm) run I added later. This part of the run has a proper door I use every day.

Tomorrow I can make some photos if you are interested to know how it looks like.

That’s fair, I’ve been saying I’m 59 for 4 or 5 years…
