wow you too?! i LOVE my turkey hen! and i too only have my one hen, but i have five poults coming next month (i am excited beyond all reason

) i ordered from cackle, they are cool cuz you can order only five instead of the standard fifteen minimum as long as you flesh out your order with chicks, i was determined to get some heritage turks due to the leg problems that broad breasted turks can have and i too feel that turkey is lonely, she keeps trying to hatch my chicken eggs, once she found a nest hidden in the woods and could not be found, I CRYED ALL NIGHT!

(we have monsters in our woods) the next day i was outside calling tur KEY, tur KEY and i heard the faintest woo WOO so i called again, tur KEY? and once again she replied woo WOO and there she was totally invisible only fifteen feet away from the coup setting chicken eggs

i was elated! turkeys are just awesome!
