I struck gold. FREE WOOD

By having this wood, I will have so much more. I'll be able to make a strong secure run. I will also be able to get the waterer I want, the one that hooks up to a hose pipe, Little Giant I think is the brand. I got a hanging galanized feeder from the feed store for free because the side has a dent in it. It looks good though. I popped out the dent and it was good as new. I hope to mimic this coop, with a few adjustments.

I want the peak to be 9'. The lowest wall will be 5'. I can't wait to get started. I do believe I'm going to use similar siding like in the coop page linked above.

Great load of lumber! I'm doing the same thing. Looking for free lumber. I found a house being torn down and really loaded up. Check my BYC page. I'm also building an 8' X 8' but not as fancy as yours will be.

Goog luck!

I doubt it will look fancy, as I am in high school and building it on my own, but I'd like to know I did it and it was worth it to me havin the exp. than paying someone to throw it up and not but devotion into it.

This week it is raining. I hope that during the weekdays the next 2 weeks I will start leveling the ground. Then, we begin the painful task of moving the 14x8 prebuilt floor. It's REALLY heavy. It took 4 strong guys powered by Bud. to put it up there. LOL. I think the neighbors will be recieving a phone call. Talking to patty, a BYC member near by that is being an inspiration for my coop (I want her chicks), I learned I'm already ahead of schedule! I said I wanted to floor done by the end of spring break. That STARTS the 10th of April. The floor only needs one board replaced on it
