I take it all back * I finally got MILK *

I converted a surge bucket over to deal with goat milking. $115.00 for the kit. MUCH easier on the goats than any other we tried.

Miss Prissy, from Vet Valley Supply it is $ 178 dollars. And personally it is so worth it to me too. I have trouble with my right arm at times. I broke it in 3 places, cold weather affects me and I have problems with carpel tunnel also. So I would say do it! The instructions are so easy and it is easy to use. You get the milk started by stripping it twice. You place it on the teat and squeeze just like it says a few times. The milk just starts flowing out!
Ordering it from Vet Valley Supply it was free shipping too. It got here within like 3 days .

Miss Prissy, I have Carpal Tunnel in both hands. My left tested as severe (I am left handed) and my right moderate. I had surgery on both this past spring. My right healed perfectly but the left has perminant nerve damage. My fingertips are kinda numb and the whole hand is fumbles a bit. If you haven't had the surgery yet please don't wait too long like I did.

I converted a drench gun with a big syringe without the plunger into a milker for my pygmies. It cost me about $8.00 with the parts and works really well and it has tubing so that there is no bottle to try to get underneath a pygmy. I need to get pics I guess, its hard to explain but super easy to make. I have also used battery operated or rechargable breast pumps from walmart with decent results on the pygmies as well, though I am not sure on the bigger goats if their teats will fit to get a good seal.
