hehehe. I'm guilty of this too. Always looking for the "in" to bring up chickens in a conversation!

My mother thinks I'm nuts for having chickens. Growing up I never really wanted or liked animals, so my mini-menagerie just boggles her now.

My co-workers don't mind hearing chicken stories and looking at pictures from BYC, but my DH lets me know it gets old.

It's all about the chickens! I happily announce how many hens a-laying every day! If I don't say, my co-worker's ask! (3 hens a laying!) my desktop has a picture of "Tri" my favorite RIR and my screen saver is a picture show of the rest of the girls! I'm obsessed.

I'm addicted to it all. I've suggested selling our place and buying an all out farm. Basically, quiting our current jobs and start farming. It's a little late in life but we're both in agreement and it's our current goal!
