I taught my Chicken to do a trick !!

I am so excited to share a video of my Black Silkie Rooster "General Tso" who I taught to jump on command. I am not sure how it started, but I just started asking him to jump and then he would - I never even gave him treats to do it - I just tell him good boy - that is it. He is so smart!!

He is a smart and handsome fellow! I have 2 that jump when I ask them,my BR cockerel and my RIR cockerel. I have a pullet who will jump on my lap when I pat my leg. Chickens are just simply amazing animals.

Someone I met, said that his brother taught a chicken to sit on command! He said his brother would spend hours in the chicken coop.
