As stated above, eggs need to be incubated by the hen for a time before it starts to develope...so just collect eggs daily. Some Roos can get mean...but I have at least 50 of them and the only little buggers that are mean are my soda can high D'Anvers....lol.. Most of my bigger Roos run the yard with other Roos and love attention an food. It's best not to love on a young roo too much as this can confuse the human vs chicken boundaries.
 
Brahma is a pretty mellow breed, so I bet he will be a well behaved rooster. I love having a rooster in the coop. I just collect the eggs every day, as the others said, and I don't have to worry about unexpected chicks.

Charlie looks like a Dark Brahma roo. He is a handsome fellow! Perhaps he needs some Dark Brahma hens, so you can expand your flock with little slippered Brahma chicks. Hope you built a big enough coop! LOL

By the way... (Kitty is a Light Brahma, too)
