I think eggbound

I went in to get eggs this morning. I noticed one hen with poopy butt so I picked her up and her belly was hard so I figured maybe egg bound. So I started messaging her belly she then threw up everything in her belly and just died. Did I kill her. I read if you message there belly it helped to get egg out. So what do you think?

They physically can't throw up their stomach contents, just the crop.
Poopy butt isn't a sign of egg binding but can be a sign or reproductive or digestion issues or worms.
The hard belly thing is not good indication of anything.
You likely put pressure on her crop so she aspirated on its contents.
