here is one of our lavender orps we think it broke it's leg what do you think hen or roo

i say roo, even know its tail feathers are kind of broken up, it looks like that of a roo

Do you have a picture of it before it injured it's leg? I would tend to say, hen, but without knowing the age or seeing the legs and tail feather while standing, it's difficult (for me, anyway) to tell.

The hackle feathers look pretty long and pointed so I would go with roo.
