The fairy egg might not even have a yolk. Yours looks big enough to not really be a fairy egg, though.
I put a fairy egg in with some button eggs for size comparison.

The 2 fairy eggs i've opened (chicken eggs) have a clear transparent yolk shape within the white.

That’s what I’m afraid of, my last fairy egg had a yolk, and this one has a noticeable dark area when candled. The only way to know I guess is open it up or wait.

I bought 24 month olds from someone on Craigslist for $40. I thought it was a good deal considering everyone else wanted $4/each. They were almost all roosters and turned out to be pretty aggressive. I processed all of them at 6 weeks and am still happy with how it worked out.

My plan was to easily sell the extras for like 2$ each with a grounded up cup of food to last em till they buy some but only snow hatched but mine were button quail o.o im sure they would have sold easy since ppl are going pet crazy during this virus time

I had an even smaller fairy egg. It was not much bigger than my finch eggs!

The middle one is a normal sized egg, the right is the fairy egg and the left is one of my double yolkers.

Hubby was on board for trying to sell the chicks once they hatch, so I set the eggs last night, I have 9 slots open and 9 hens, so I’ll add more eggs today, mark them, and just hand turn them the last morning.

here they are:

the small one is in the inside ring, at approx the 1 o’ clock position. I’ll let you guys know in about 5 or 6 days if there’s progress.

When you have the two eggs in each slot have you had a problem with them cracking each other. I noticed one egg was cracked last night and it kinda looked like it was caused by the other eggs tip.

I have not, but my first hatch I didn’t put shelf liner under and they would get stuck into weird positions as they flopped around because they didn’t roll smoothly. I unstuck them every morning and night. With the shelf liner they seem to roll smoothly and not get stuck.

Also I had considered putting a pipe cleaner diagonally across each slot to divide it, but found I didn’t need to after I put in shelf liner.
