I think I am gonna faint.

I know! I know! he is growing up for real. my 20 yo brother started helping out one day and has not stoped, been a good six months now. all I say is thanks when someone does that around hear. plus if any of my bothers messed up they would just say so. I think most guys want to be helpful, they just don't know how

I bet a job comes in the next month...

as the mother of a 15 yo son that is in trouble this week, my first thought is- what has he done, my second is what does he want?????

Well, I can find nothing amiss and he didn't ask for anything either. I found a text on my phone that I missed yesterday that told me he was gonna clean the kitchen because "it is ridiculous".

DSD came home - she is the twin sister to Pigpen.

Obviously he's turned a corner and is becoming human. Definitely a step in the right direction! Some do it younger, some older, than others. It's surviving it on our part that's the hardest!

so does this mean we just have to wait A LITTLE longer before we go nutty and have to clean up?

I think they normally have it timed right. They know if it gets any messier mom will HAVE to tackle it. They just have more patience with a mess than we do.
