I think I found an ovary on the floor of my coop

Ok I have no idea what it really was but it was the shape of an egg a little smaller and it had a 3 inch string attached to it. There was no shell around it on the floor just this bright yellow blob. We decided to dissect it and it was kind of like fat except in the center there were pink tissue that reminded me of something you would see in intestines or a stomach.

Chicken seem fine and we have no rooster so no fertilized eggs.

Let me know if I should worry.

Chickens are RIR and about 2 yrs.
